  • Can you use these tunes on a SCT Livewire +

    Yes you can!

  • Do these tunes work with a Livewire TS+? Does it turn off the EGR? Does it tune the transmission strategies and not just boost line pressure like the can tunes?

    Yes, these will work on a livewire. And if you write "deleted" in the modification box then it will disable any EGR commands and codes.  The tunes will change shift points and driving characteristics, not just line pressure.

  • I have a 2006 f-350 6.0l w/270,000km, head gaskets and oem bolts done by ford (not studded) 20k earlier. Wanting to delete egr and cooler. Will this or any other suggested tune work on a bully dog gt 40420 and will it incorporate the fact that the egr system has been removed?

    The Bully Dog GT 40420 will not support full EGR delete tuning. You should use an SCT X4 or BDX with custom AMDP tuning for proper functionality.

  • The tuner I have is for 2008 6.4 will I need to delete those to use on a 2006 6.0

    Yes, you must delete/unlock your SCT tuner from the 2008 6.4L before using it on your 2006 6.0L Powerstroke. If locked, return the 6.4L to stock or contact SCT for an unlock before loading new AMDP 6.0L tunes​.

  • Will this work on my sct live wire device?

    Yes!

  • Does the truck need to be studded and will it be ok to run on factory head gaskets and 467000 km

    You would certainly be toying with fire running any sort of power on the stock head gaskets at that mileage.  You may want to stick to a lower power tune if you don't want to be doing studs and gaskets on the truck.  The SCT comes with a 50 and 65hp option that would work well, or you can order up a custom tune.

  • Hey so 06 6.0 studded, deleted, bigger turbo, 4 inch turbo back exhaust no cat, and a cold air intake. Is this the tune for deleted trucks? What will the different levels mean for daily driving? I have innovative tunes but that’s from before I got studded and deleted. I want fuel economy and drive ability. But occasionally tow 8-9000 lbs. what power levels do I want?

    These tunes are for deleted trucks, you would probably like to have a tow, street, and race tune for however you are driving the vehicle!

    There is a dedicated tow tune, which typically provides a moderate increase of 45-65 HP and 100-150 lb-ft of torque over stock. This level is optimized for safe towing without overloading the engine or transmission.

  • Will a Bullydog 40420 tuner with an SD card take theses tunes?

    No.
