However, head bolts are a common failure point on these trucks, especially if you plan on doing a lot of power modifications. These studs, do not stretch, give you more thread engagement for more accurate torque readings and hold up to extreme stress.

• Thread into the engine block, install your head over the studs, the nuts apply clamping force VS bolts are threaded through the cylinder head into the block, applying clamping force
  

• You will need to either have your rocker arm pedestals machined/milled or purchase a set of the Modified Rocker Arm Pedestals.
