With the looks and performance of OEM parts; this DCR Pump Conversion by S&S is a game changer; low noise, fast response time, & no tuning or calibration required. This conversion will save you potentially thousands in repairs if your CP4 happens to fail.
The DCR fuel pump delivers up to 1,250 mm3 of fuel per rotation and boasts a new corrosion-resistant inlet metering valve (IMV) that helps extend the life of the DCR fuel pump. Its high-quality, corrosion-resistant components and special features keep large debris out of the valve, ensuring long-lasting durability in even the harshest conditions!
Compatible even with low-lubricity fuel, this pump also utilizes a patented eccentric drive pumping technology, with pressure-lubricated cam and bushings, for increased performance, efficiency, and benchmark durability.

OEM-grade braided hose
Steel Fuel Lines
2-piston DCR pump
Max fuel delivery of 1,250 mm3 per revolution (25% more than a CP4.2)
The 2011-2016 model years will require the removal of a one-time-use vacuum pump gasket. S&S Diesel strongly recommends adding it with the 6.7F DCR Conversions to ensure a trouble-free installation.
Per S&S Diesel, the remaining gaskets and seals can typically be re-used during installation if they are not damaged.
The Problem with the CP4 pump on the Ford 6.7 Powerstroke
The CP4 is known for failing without warning in a brutal manner, forcing you to overhaul your fuel system, with costs that hover at, or even exceed the $10,000 mark. When the pump begins to fail it begins shedding metal shavings and contaminants into your fuel, which is then forced through your high-pressure fuel system. When this happens it’s not just the pump that needs to be replaced, but the pump, all injectors, fuel regulator, and both fuel rails need to be cleaned. This has resulted in recalls, lawsuits, and a general reputation of unreliability.
The Solution: A direct drop-in replacement DCR fuel pump
S&S Diesel has revolutionized the market with their durable, game-changing plug-and-play CP4 replacement that boasts OE fit and function. S&S Diesel, working alongside PurePower, started with a Stanadyne DCR fuel pump design and developed a variant that matches the CP4's output curve without requiring any calibration changes.
They’ve also added Stanadyne’s new (IMV) designed to extend the DCR fuel pump life. The robust IMV provides exceptional longevity, durability, by using high-quality corrosion-resistant components and other proprietary features to prevent large debris from entering the valve. Combined with OE-grade braided hose and steel fuel lines, this replacement looks and performs like original equipment, offering Ford Super Duty owners a more reliable and long-lasting option.
Durable DCR High-Pressure Fuel Pump Design
The two-piston DCR pump is based on a compact and modular design for easy integration, has low hydraulic and acoustical noise, features ultra-fast response times, and is biofuel and low-lubricity fuel compatible. It uses a patented eccentric drive pumping technology, with pressure-lubricated cam and bushings, for increased performance, efficiency, and benchmark durability.
The Fuel Control Actuator (FCA) uses high-quality corrosion-resistant components and proprietary features to prevent large debris from entering the actuator, providing exceptional robustness for longevity and durability in harsh environmental conditions.
The DCR can provide a up to 2,200 bar of pressure with fuel delivery of 1,250 mm3 per revolution (25% more than a CP4.2), producing plenty of flow for worn injectors that have high return.
Protect your Productivity
For $2,786.00 CAD, the S&S Diesel Motorsport CP4 to DCR Pump Conversion for Ford 6.7L Powerstroke can save Super Duty truck owners $10,000 to $15,000 in fuel system repairs, and add peace of mind knowing that their daily workhorse isn’t going to lay down on them.
Currently, the Ford 6.7L CP4 to DCR Pump Conversion will fit 2011-2019 F250-F750 trucks, with future plans for 2020+ compatibility. The S&S-PurePower engineering team currently has DCR Conversions being validated all over North America in all types of conditions and climates, with the goal of bringing a well-refined and proven product to the market.
6 Warning symptoms to watch for on your 6.7 Powerstroke that may indicate CP4 failure
1. Metal shavings in your fuel filter
One very common symptom of CP4 failure is metal shavings, bits and pieces in the fuel filter. As it begins to fail, the CP4 starts shedding metal shavings and metal contaminants into the fuel.
2.Power loss, sputtering & stalling when accelerating quickly
If your CP4 is failing, when accelerating quickly, your truck will sputter and stall. This happens because the fuel pump can’t supply enough fuel to the engine which means you are getting power in intervals rather than continuous acceleration.
3. Poor ignition or difficulty starting
Though starting difficulty can occur for many reasons, including kinked fuel hoses, worn alternator bearings, alternator malfunctions, or even a faulty battery, if you notice your engine is struggling starting and running, checking the CP4 condition is a good idea.
4. Reduced fuel economy
Though it can indicate other issues, another warning sign that your CP4 is failing is a sudden and significant reduction in fuel efficiency. You’ll suddenly find that you’re not getting the same MPG that you should, and combined with the other issues listed this could be an indication of failure.
5. Rattling noises & a rise in temperature
Another sign of CP4 failure on your 6.7 powerstroke is a whining or rattling sound coming from your lift pump. This may not be a no start condition, but definitely can contribute to CP4 failure.
3.Bad Fuel:Oxygen ratio
If the ratios are off due to failure, you may get any of the following
White or Black smoke coming from exhaust
Misfires while accelerating
Foul odors coming from the engine
Excessive buildup in the exhaust pipe
Failed SMOG checks and other emission checks
Too much oxygen can also be responsible for other symptoms listed here including poor acceleration, reduced fuel economy and sputtering or stalling.
