QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Would 125 hp injectors and a 12mm Cp3 be too much fuel for this turbo. Looking for 650-700 whp goals. Tossed up between this and a sxe 366 with added exhaust brake.

I think you would be pushing the limits of a VGT with that much fuel.  I think you would be much happier and it would run more efficient with a 366 and added brake.  With the right tuning you could have that working just like stock spool up.

  • Is this more reliable than the stock one that just failed 85000km

    Yes

  • is this turbo vgt i got 2013 ram 2500 my turbo went out dose it rep replace stock vgt turbo with this kit and will engine brake work w with it like stock one?

Yes this is a direct replacement

  • If I put this turbo in my 2017 Ram would I have to have a tuner or is it plug and play? If a tuner is needed, which one?

It is not plug-and-play, and will require tuning for optimal performance. Look into EFI Live + CCS tunes

  • Does this turbo require specific engine tuning? Or will it work on an already deleted truck with factory turbo?

It will physically work on your deleted truck, but you should run updated tuning to fully support the larger turbo to avoid issues.

  • Is this a refurbished or new turbo?

    Brand new!

  • Is there any tuning required after installation

    Yes.
