The CCS TCM Tuning is for those looking to upgrade their existing tuning package from Coopers Custom Solutions by adding Transmission Tuning. The TCM Tuning will dramatically increase the drivability of your 68RFE by modifying and adjusting your shift points, line pressure, and increasing the holding capacity.

TCM Tuning increases the line pressure, this puts more pressure on your clutch packs and prevents them from slipping which can cause excessive early wear on 68RFE's clutch disks. It will also change the shifting points to match the new tuning which helps improve the overall driveability.

The factory lockup schedule on the 68RFE is set to lock up the torque converter in 4th gear, and Mitch Cooper (Owner of CCS Tuning) will command lockup in 3rd gear and it will stay locked while you are shifting from 3rd to 4th. The shifting patterns would almost be similar to when you drive in Tow Haul Mode.

  • Hi I have an older model ezlynk that came with the truck. The truck is new to me it's a 2017 with the aisin. Truck has the scr deleted but still has the EGR intact. I'm going to put the egr kit into it this week and will need a tune package for that. Will this package be a good fit?

    This particular tune file is for the 68RFE so it will not work on your truck. You will need an EZ Lynk Support package for the truck if you want to make any changes to the current tuning, HERE. If you're needing AISIN TCM Tuning you can find that HERE. 

  • If I already have my truck tuned can I still add this to it.

    This is an upgrade to your existing CCS Tuning. Do not purchase this unless you already have an EZ Lynk.

  • Will this work with a engine tune from a different company?

    Yes, it should work, but confirm compatibility with both tuners.

  • Is the EZ-lynk able to communicate with the Aisin transmission?

    No.

  • I’m tuned already but don’t have a trans tune, can I buy this and install it onto my truck with my ezylynk or do I need a tube package

    This is an upgrade to your existing CCS Tuning, so if you've already for an EZ Lynk and CCS support package, you're good to go!

  • Will these TCM tunes work with a non CCS custom ECM tune?

    Yes.

  • I Recently deleted my 2014 dodge ram 3500 and purchased the EZ-LINK 2, i and need a tune that includes a deleted. will this tune work for me?

    This will be a Transmission tune add-on, you'll want to look at the 2013-2021 Cummins CCS Support Package, and you can always add this as well!

  • Is there any hardware mods required for the tcm tuning? Stock 68rfe
