  • Will the 45HP tune get rid of my emissions errors on my truck?

    The tune will only eliminate emissions error codes on your truck if it was specifically designed to do so. You would need to be running a full delete tune in order to remove the emissions error codes.

  • Il looking for a lite tow and sporty drive kind of tune. Would the 45 hp be good. Do you do anything to auto tranny? I would like to remove dpf and replace with piece of pipe, would this work or you recommend complete pipe replacement

    45hp would be a great tow tune.

  • Is there transmission tuning available with the engine tune? What power level is recommended for towing up to 5k on the LWN

    Transmission tuning is available, we would recommend a 25hp or 45hp tune.

  • I have 2018 2.8 Colorado and when I purchased it already was deleted and tuned but I don’t know what tune it is and every now and then I have to erase a code that comes on because of the tune, so my question is do the tunes you guys offer have this problem? And also what tune would you guys recommend? I am thinking of getting the 75hp tune with the Trans tune? I daily drive the truck and I don’t tow with it but I do plan on towing some day, would that 75hp tune be ok if decide to tow something? And is the 75hp tune safe to daily drive?

    If you're planning on towing down the road I'd opt for the 45HP tune - 75HP will be too high, especially for heavier towing. 45HP will give you a good daily boost and also cover you when towing. Or, you can get SOTF and then be able to switch between your tunes depending on the truck usage. 75HP is a great daily tune. With our tunes you shouldn't get any CELs on the dash or warnings once the truck's been flashed.

  • Which tune do you recommend to pair with a full delete for the best fuel economy?

    A 45HP tow or 75HP daily tune is best for fuel economy on a deleted 2.8L Duramax​​.

  • I am looking at the 25 hp tune. My truck is not deleted. If I put this tune in now do I need to purchase a new tune after deleting?

    If you install the 25 HP tune now with emissions equipment intact and later delete the truck, you will need to purchase a new tune.

  • Will this tune also eliminate the DEF supply?

    Deleting the emissions means you will no longer need to add DEF.

  • If I bought a truck with your programmer how do I find out what tune it has?

    Use the EFI Live Autocal to read the tune file on your truck, and consult CCS if additional identification or tune details are needed.
