The HSP Diesel L5P intake is a major upgrade from the factory parts. It features a full metal assembly and a large heatshield that allows for the use of the ram air hood scoop, which comes standard on these trucks. Additionally, the metal mandrel-bent intake tube boasts smooth bends and a reduced radius to minimize turbulence and maximize flow into the engine. This translates to faster airflow and increased air supply for the engine and turbocharger, resulting in potential power gains of up to 20HP without any tuning modifications.

The stock L5P Cold Side is a vulnerable two-piece plastic construction, leading to multiple potential failure points. However, the HSP Diesel L5P Cold SidePipe, made from mandrel-bent aluminum and equipped with a metal connector and resilient silicone boots, eliminates those weak spots and keeps you cruising.
