What does the Transmission tuning do?

TCM Tuning increases the line pressure, this puts more pressure on your clutch packs and prevents them from slipping which can cause excessive early wear on 68RFE's clutch disks. It will also change the shifting points to match the new tuning which helps improve the overall driveability.

Does the unlimited support come with the emissions on and emissions off files? Do you know if the emissions on files eliminates the DEF usage like CTT, and just runs the DPF? Thanks

We can link you with both types of tunes yes. The emissions on tunes still use DEF, just much less than originally. 

The ez lynk website says it supports 08 cummins. Retail websites don’t seem to offer the ez lynk for 2008. What’s the real deal?

They recently started offering the EZ-lynk for the older Cummins, but it only works with a single level tune, instead of the full support that you can do with the EFI live.

I have a 2015 Ram 2500 with a stock 68rfe. DPF delete and an EGR delete. Straight piped. Other than that there are no other mods. I have CCS tunes with unlimited support. What LP tune is the best to run for that trans? Is the 220LP trans tune too much?

200 LP max for a stock 68RFE—220 LP is too aggressive unless you upgrade the trans​.

how do i get the software on to my ez lynk once i order it since i already have the hardware

We will lynk you up on our end, and then the next time you connect to the truck, you will see our email as a new technician and the files will be pushed to you automatically.

Can these tunes be revised if i decide to add bigger turbo, injectors, pump, built trans down the road?

Yes if you select unlimited support, you get a lifetime of updates and modifications.

If I have an existing ez lynk auto agent 2 do you need the serial number on the auto agent to send the tunes to? If not how do I get the tunes from my email over to my ez lynk?

All the tunes are linked to your VIN via the EZ Lynk cloud. Once the tunes are ready, you can access them via the EZ Lynk Auto Agent app on your phone.
